As many of you guys might know, I spent most of my time photographing during the second half of 2009. I used photoshop to edit my photos, but that was about it. Like 2 weeks ago, I felt like doing a "large piece" again after "ages". It turned out "ok". Then I checked out alot of portfolios and artists on deviantart aswell, and BOOM, I was all into the mixed media digital art thing again. By now I´ve already made 4 pieces which you can find in my gallery. they turned out pretty good in my opinion, which shows me that I still got the hang of it. It´s hella cold right now and I´m not really motivated to go outside shooting, so I think you can expect some more pieces in the upcoming weeks. Looking forward to going to school next week again ( feel the sarcasm ). Then I´ll do the Photography workshop again.

I finally get to lead a workshop at my school. We are photographing, editing and showcasing our images. I currently have 13 participants. We will go out and take photos of different themes each week. Last week, the theme was autumn. We had quite bad weather, it was raining and very cloudy. So we had a hard time capturing the beautiful sides of the autumn. We also hadn´t enough time to develop a whole series. It was kind of a warmup. I learned several things about how to prepare such a workshop, and hopefully it´ll get better next time. We also have issues getting the right image editing software onto our school´s pc´s. My school doesnt want to pay hundres or thousands of euros for Photoshop. Gotta talk to the responsible person again. There are several outcomes in my gallery from last week already if you´re interested. I´ll keep submitting my outcomes as the workshop goes on, so stay tuned !
